What is a Scrabble word finder?

A Scrabble word finder is a tool that takes the letters on your rack (and optionally letters already on the board) and returns every valid word you can form from them, usually sorted by score so you can quickly spot your best play.

How does the WordCue Scrabble solver work?

It searches WordCue's bundled dictionary of more than 350,000 English words for combinations that match your rack, any board pattern you enter, and blank tiles you've included, then scores each result using standard Scrabble letter values. All of this runs locally in your browser.

Can I use WordCue offline?

Yes. WordCue is a progressive web app, and a service worker caches the app and its dictionary data after your first visit, so most tools continue to work without an internet connection once loaded.

How does the Wordle solver work?

You enter the letters you know are green (correct position), yellow (present but misplaced) and grey (not in the word), and the solver filters the dictionary down to every five-letter word consistent with that feedback.

What are the best Wordle starting words?

How do blank tiles work?

Can I use WordCue on mobile?

Yes. WordCue works in any modern mobile browser and can also be installed as a progressive web app on your phone's home screen for quicker, offline-capable access.

Does WordCue store my searches?

WordCue has no backend server or user database, so your searches aren't collected there. Your search history and favourites are saved only in your own browser's localStorage, and you can clear them any time from Settings.

Does WordCue require an account?

No. There are no accounts, logins or sign-ups anywhere on WordCue — every tool is available immediately and for free.

Is WordCue affiliated with Scrabble, Words With Friends or Wordle?

No. WordCue is an independent toolkit and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro, Mattel, Zynga, The New York Times, or the creators of Quordle or Octordle.
